This guide is the result of joint work between the Federation of Progressive Women, the NGO Platform for Social Action and the Group on Gender and Equality of the National Council of NGOs for Social Action, gives the non-profit organizations of our country, the necessary tool to suit the needs of equality that society needs.
Strategic Plan of the Third/Social Sector
The Strategic Plan is a pioneering document in Europe born of reflection, debate and participation of citizen organisations that form the necessary means to modernise and motivate the Third/Social Sector, in agreement with social demands. The Third/Social Sector NGO National Council approved the Strategic Plan on February 9th 2006 and it was drawn up energised by the NGO Social Action Platform, which coordinated the work of the Council Group created for this purpose.
Working better together
This is an original work by R. Scott Fosler of Independent Sector, an organisation looking back onto a twenty year-history and comprising more than 700 non-profit organisations in the United States. They have collaborated with the NGO Social Action Platform in the past few years.

Debates on Third/Social Sector
This generic document includes the publication of the content of two important conferences held by the Platform in 2003:
- One of them on the Proceso de construcción de la Unión Europea y su repercusión en la Europa Social / Construction Process of the European Union and its repercussion in Social Europe.
- And another one on Discapacidad: Oportunidades y Retos / Disability: Opportunities and Challenges.
Quality, Third/Social Sector and Social Politics
This book, published in the Colección debates / Collection of debates, gathers the content of the speeches, round tables, workshops and conclusions of the congress held in Madrid on December 2006.
150 representatives from 85 social organisations from all over Spanish participated in this event, organised by the Platform in collaboration with the Comisión de Calidad del Consejo Estatal de ONG de Acción Social / Quality Commission of the NGO National Council, Fundación Luis Vives / the Luis Vives Foundation and also with the support of the Ministry for Labour and Social Affairs.
Third/Social Sector and Social Rights
A compilation of the content of the Conference on Social Rights and the Third/Social Sector organised by the NGO Social Action Platform, in March 2006, which includes conclusions reached during the Conference. Its objective was to help social entities to define a common concept of social rights and the role non-profit organisations play in its defence.
Studies
Another step towards social inclusion
A study carried out by the Instituto de Gobierno y de Políticas Públicas de la UAB / Institute of Government and Public Politics of the Autonomous University of Barcelona on the central aspects regarding social political inclusion in Spain, as requested by the NGO Social Action Platform. Providing an interesting selection and evaluation frame to build a standard of fair practice of social inclusion.
